A note from our founder Alex:

SmileMail is a small business that started out of my garage. I originally thought of the idea for SmileMail when I was studying abroad, and I felt bad that I hadn’t written my 98 year old grandma a letter (she loved receiving things in the mail). Knowing that her vision wasn’t that great, I thought it would be so cool if I could send her a voice message, but for real and in the mail. I was really surprised that nothing existed to do this, so I invented SmileMail! I am grateful for all the support that SmileMail has received and it really gives me faith in humanity hearing all of the stories of why people have sent SmileMails. If you choose to order one, I promise you won’t regret it.
